!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Looks like I have some unfriending to do. But seriously, this guy went to NYU with me and was something of a math genius, so this is a little surprising...

In all fairness, it's entirely possible that the headline is true.
Aerospace worker goes crazy, tries to put "chemtrail" device on plane because he believes it's his duty. He tells his boss, his boss says "you're fucking nuts, get outta here"

To be fair we are more known for bearded P.C. try-hard liberals than crazy tinfoil hat nutters. The big city tends to scare those types away.

I went down the conspiracy road for a while for the funsies on "the tubes" and i can see how its easy to get caught up with what looks like legitamate evidence, or a series of assumptions that if all is true then it starts to make sense. The problem is called the Swiss cheese effects; You have to believe, or want to believe that ALL the holes line up, and THEN you can see clearly to the other side. if you step back and look and say "well this COULD be true if..." then you realize how many "ifs" it would take for it to be true and it all falls apart.

It is scary easy to get taken in by legitimate-looking "evidence" if you don't have any prior knowledge or experience to combat it, definitely.

Well, I know of a well-educated nurse practitioner who takes everything Dr. Oz says as gospel and absolutely adores Vani Hari, so it goes to show that education and profession don't prevent people from being morons.

chemtrails are just a diversionary cover-up for what they are REALLY doing - amirite?
